Information and communication technology (ICT) is presently the most prominent, efficient and advanced tool available for achieving fast, creative and effective research work in educational outfits. Easy access to biological diagrams and illustrations as could be observed with the use of electronics boards and projectors in classrooms is a major break through which some barriers of inefficiency in diagramatisation may have posed in the past. Classroom barriers may be referred to as anything either physical or non-physical that can prevent a message from getting to the receiver in a way that the intended response may not be achieved, This paper highlighted some of these classroom barriers and the way ICT has been used to ameliorate them. The paper also proffered some recommendations that could enhance the use of ICT in breaking communication barriers when teaching biological science.Keywords:
